Udyam Trust in Collaboration with Can Support Team held a Cancer Awareness Workshop at the Gautam nagar center.
Ms. Manju Bhatnagar from Can support team shared information on cancer including -
The risk factors associated with cancer
Prevention methods towards cancer
Do’s and Dont’s for cancer
Symptoms and causes of cancer
How to lead a sustainable life despite cancer
Treatment for Cancer
The programme was attended by a group of girl students and their mothers with its focus on Cervical and Breast cancer awareness.
The programme was a success and ended on the note of teaching the participants the method of self examination and its vitality.

This year, Udyam students were given a tour of Qutub Minar as part of Udyam's annual picnic. This was followed by a Picnic at Jamali Kamali Park.
Youngsters were taught about the history of Qutub Minar.
Following the tour, all of the teachers and students had lunch and a picnic in the park with some delectable food sponsored by Rastogi family.
It was a delightful sight to see such happy faces all around!

Hygiene is considered one of the basic skills to lead an independent and productive life as humans and at Udyam everyday the teachers indulge in conversation around hygiene 🛀🧼

As the biting cold of Delhi has started, sweaters, socks 🧦 & caps 🎩 are the essential items that can help school going children to survive the harsh winter season.

Christmas and the upcoming New year were celebrated with a lot of vigour at Udyam Trust!
All students & teachers eagerly decorated the centres and participated in a host of games & activities.

Students at Udyam Trust learnt how to apply icing on the cupcakes with buttercream while making flower-like shapes.
Thanks to the @apca_india team for teaching our students decoration with sprinkles and icing on cupcakes. Finally students enjoyed their decorated buttercream Cupcakes.

It was a proud moment for us when our ex student and volunteer Deepa visited Nehru Nagar center yesterday.

Our MSM students just got done with their exams and needed some rejuvenation. That is when Monica and Vibha, from Kumkuma Creations, suggested that we have a fun session where they would help our students to learn new skills in embroidery. They even brought goodies in the form of bags and embroidery kits for everyone. The workshop was followed by a game and all the ladies had a blast.
We thank Monica and Vibha for their time and look forward to more such workshops in the future.

Udyam MSM students visited the India International Trade Fair. Our students, some old, some young and all excited to walk along the motion of new trade. We spent all of 5 hours along stalls from countries such as Turkey and Bangladesh where our students learnt new meanings of neighbours and neighbourhoods. They enjoyed the food and loved the ME time, which is so rare.
